Howling Rock Radio is a variety and independent music station. Our goal is to give our listeners a wide variety of music while also giving independent bands and artists a place where their music can be heard.
Our DJs bring their own style and personality to their shows, which means you never know exactly what you may hear when you tune in. That's part of what makes Howling Rock Radio different.
Interested in becoming part of the Howling Rock Radio family? Being an H.R.R. DJ is about more than simply playing music. Our DJs represent the station and help create the atmosphere our listeners hear every day.
We want our DJs to enjoy themselves, bring their own personality to their shows, interact with listeners, and become part of the radio family.
SAM Broadcaster is a requirement to DJ here at Howling Rock Radio.
Mixxx is also usable with the station and may be used when appropriate.
New DJs may receive help getting their broadcasting setup ready so they can connect properly and get on the air with H.R.R.
Howling Rock Radio is powered by people who give their time to help make the station what it is. Our owners, manager, DJs, graphic designer and other team members work together to keep H.R.R. moving forward.
We believe every DJ should be able to add their own twist to what they do while still representing the station and respecting the listeners and the rest of the H.R.R. family.
Whether you're a longtime listener, an independent artist, a member of our team, or someone discovering Howling Rock Radio for the first time, we're glad you're here.
Thank you for supporting our DJs, independent music, and the station we've continued building since 2019.
